Morgenhof Operations (Pty) Ltd T/A Morgenhof Wine Estate is committed to protecting the Personal Information of data subjects processes in line with the requirements of global data protection laws and regulations. To this end, Morgenhof Wine Estate created this Policy to demonstrate its commitment to Privacy and Information Protection.
This External Privacy Policy together with our Website Terms (collectively, the “Terms”) form a written contract between you and Morgenhof Wine Estate. These apply to all users of any of our Platforms and Services. The purpose of this External Privacy Policy is to describe how we collect, use, store and disclose Personal Information that Data Subjects provide to us, what we learn about Data Subjects from their visit to our Platforms or Services, as well as to explain the choices and rights that Data Subjects have regarding the processing of their Personal Information by Morgenhof Wine Estate.

We collect Personal Information when you use our Platforms or Services by using Cookies, web beacons and similar technologies. A cookie is an alphanumeric identifier that we transfer to your hard drive through your web browser when you visit our Platforms. It enables our own system to recognise you when you visit our Platforms again and improve our service to you.

We are not in the business of selling Personal Information and therefore we will not disclose your Personal Information to anyone except as provided in this Website’s Privacy Policy

We will do our best to protect your personal information and we will use up to date technology that will help us to do this.

In the absence of evidence to the contrary, we will assume that the information you provided to us is accurate. At your request, where the law requires us to do so, you can exercise your Data Subject rights as per the following, subject to verification and validation of your identity:

6.3 Request erasure, as permitted by law, of your Personal Information that Morgenhof Wine Estate holds about you.
6.4Request restriction of processing of your Personal Information.
6.5 Object to processing of Personal Information as permitted by law.
6.6 Lodge a complaint as it pertains to the processing activities of your Personal Information.
Further to the above, in relation to the use of Our Platforms and Services, you have the right to:

Morgenhof Wine Estate is based in and operates from South Africa, and, regardless of where you use or access our Platforms, products, or services, your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located in South Africa (or elsewhere in the world). Please note that any information we obtain about you will be stored in accordance with South African privacy laws, regulations and standards, which may not be equivalent to the laws in your country of residence.
