Wine Making
Receiving of grapes during the morning around 16°C. Crushing and de-stemming and the mash is pumped to open fermentation tanks. Cold soaked for two days at 10-15°C then yeast was added so that fermentation could start. Fermentation took place at 28-30°C. Punch downs 3 times per day. No post fermentation maceration. Malo-lactic fermentation done in Stainless Steel tanks. 26 Months in French oak barrels. 100%, Malbec

Malbec was planted in 1995 on Western facing slope. Altitude above sea level: 155 – 175m. The soil on this block varies from medium to heavy textured, with a moderate structure and shale mother material. The clay content varies from 15-25%
